The Economics Department mourns the loss of a friend and colleague, Professor Robert Powell

We mourn the loss of our friend and colleague Prof. Bob Powell. Professor Powell taught Game Theory for the Social Sciences for many years and was honored by NAS for his work on the strategic dilemmas of nuclear deterrence. In his last days, Bob acted with infinite courage and dignity. We will miss him greatly.
